How It Began

Living on a farm and working in a veterinary clinic taught me many lessons including the joys of loving or helping animals and the sorrow of loss. After facing compassion fatigue during the pandemic, I sought a way to work closer to home. I noticed that cremation prices continued to rise at various clinics and always disliked the fact that cost prevented some from getting their pet's ashes back. I noticed there were no cremation locations between Indianapolis and Terre Haute and limited or no options for livestock owners!

I was asked if I would be open to cremating horses and that surprised me. Didn't everyone bury their horses? The answer is no. Those that live in neighborhoods or in apartments board their horses. Most boarding facilities do not offer the option to bury. Not only that, but renting an excavator can be costly. When I was told that most horses go to the landfill, I was very upset. There seemed to be enough support and positive feedback, that I incorporated large animal and horse cremation into my business!
